LOCKHART CAPITAL MANAGEMENT APPOINTS CHAIRMAN

Lockhart Capital Management LLP (LCM) has appointed well known finance expert Stuart Howard as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Stuart was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of SAGA, and brings a wealth of City experience and a strong track record in growing businesses with customers at their core. He is a highly respected professional with wide ranging experience in both private and public markets.

Stuart retired from SAGA in 2015 where he spent 15 years as CFO. During that time SAGA passed from family to private equity ownership and finally through an IPO to become a public company in 2014. In 2007 Stuart also became CFO for Acromas, the Private Equity backed company that acquired both SAGA and the AA. The AA also became a public Company in 2014. Prior to joining SAGA Stuart worked at advertising group Cordiant Communications as Deputy CFO and for ten years before that at the advertising group WPP Group plc in various positions. Stuart qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in London.

Stuart lives in Sevenoaks with his wife and three children and his interests include cycling, traveling and music.
